Texts and samples for examination
Disputed texts, comparison samples, context and necessary documents.
For the first enquiry
- The disputed text in its entirety, to the extent available.
- Comparison samples of known origin.
- Information about the time, genre and circumstances of creation of the texts.
- Correspondence and publications with context relevant to the task.
- Questions and a decision or order commissioning the examination, if available.
- The full expert report with appendices — for a review.
Preservation and origin
Preserve the original sequence of messages and pages, and disclose editing, forwarding and incomplete copies. The origin of samples must be established; new samples should not be deliberately tailored to the features of the disputed text. Agree in advance on the transfer of originals and media.
Files and data
The forms accept JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, TXT, RTF, MP3, WAV, MP4, MOV and ZIP: up to ten files of 10 MB each, with a maximum total of 15 MB. The feasibility of examining audio, video or a digital source is agreed separately within the scope of competence. Delivery depends on PHP and email limits. Send only necessary information and, where possible, conceal unnecessary data about other people.
Discuss an authorship examination task
