Authorship examination is used when the authorship of a text, individual linguistic features, style, manner of expression, anonymous messages, correspondence or disputed publications need to be examined.
This examination differs from handwriting examination: a handwriting expert examines handwritten execution, whereas an authorship expert examines the text as a product of language.
What you can do
- collect the disputed text and its context;
- select comparable samples from the presumed author;
- formulate appropriate questions for the expert;
- prepare a specialist opinion or an expert report review.
